Description: Come join a brand new program! In Design Squad Global, produced by WGBH Boston, kids explore engineering and invention through fun-packed, high-energy, hands-on activities in the midst of the Museum’s marvels. In the Inventing Green version, we will design and build projects that help solve environmental problems, ranging from waste reduction to energy production. Plus, we will get to know kids from a partner DSG club in another part of the world, exchanging design ideas, photos, and videos! We will have a great time and strengthen our problem-solving skills, creativity, confidence, sustainability awareness, and ability to work well with others.

Space is limited — don’t get left behind!

Cost: $50

Register through the Waltham Recreation Department in person at 510 Moody Street or online.

My kids came home each week completely fascinated by the things they are doing and inquiring about when they would be going back. I highly recommend this challenging and fun program!
