There are artists that hit it big, rocket to stratospheric levels of success and, more often than not, combust upon re-entry to our atmosphere. Then there are the lifers, the ones who stick around, tapped into something deeper, more eternal and enduring…like Dennis Brennan.

Blues, country, soul, folk, and good ole’ rock n’ roll are all expertly represented in equal parts at one of his shows, which can often feel like the entire Boston music scene distilled down into one electrifying experience.

You can usually find Dennis holding down a Wednesday night residency at Cambridge’s Lizard Lounge, but we are thrilled to welcome him to our 2nd SHIFT series, where he will perform in a rare, stripped-down, more acoustic format.
