Kim & CJ's Wedding

It’s wonderful to be back open and welcoming couples into our space as a part of the most important day of their lives.

One of first weddings since reopening after two years were Kim and CJ, and the two couldn’t have been a lovelier pair! Congratulations to the bride and groom!

Thank you, to Vanessa Alves Photography for immortalizing and sharing the memories of that day!

Luisa & Tom's Wedding

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve posted here but these pictures just came in from Luisa & Tom’s June wedding and we couldn’t WAIT to share them! Fall is just around the corner (or here depending on who you ask, tomorrow’s wedding couple just dropped off some pumpkins) but we want to hold onto summer a little longer. The floral installments and color scheme of Luisa & Tom’s big day are bringing us all the beautiful vibrant summer vibes.

BG Events & Catering did an excellent job in catering, table design, and lighting. Without A Hitch made sure everything went so smoothly and seamlessly. We can’t get over the amazing work by Poppy Florals – the ceremony arrangements, the hanging wreaths, the dessert installment.. it’s all so perfect. Huge thanks to Victoria Reilly Photography for capturing such a beautiful day and sharing with us. And of course... congratulations to the happy couple!!!

Vendor Spotlight: Janice Lynne Design

With so many talented vendors working at the Museum we wanted to highlight the ones we think you should know about! Our first in the Vendor Spotlight series is Janice Lynne Design!

Event stationary is the first glimpse your guests get into the look and feel of your wedding. Your "Save the Date" lets them know right off the bat if they should expect a formal affair, a casual gathering or a wild and crazy party. Wedding guests love to be in the know of all the plans for the celebration so having a well thought out invitation makes them feel at ease.

Janice created an invitation suite for a Museum wedding and to say she hit the nail on the head with this design is putting it lightly. We love the softness in the watercolor image and vellum invitation mixed with the industrial copper.

Janice puts so much thought and consideration into designing each invitation suite and makes sure the whole package is cohesive. Her skills don't end at invitations though, from ceremony programs to dinner menus and thank you notes, let Janice Lynne Design create a custom suite that perfectly encompasses your big day!

Maria & Jeff's Wedding

Looking back at these photos of Maria & Jeff's beautiful July wedding has us really excited for some nicer weather, outdoor ceremonies & equally happy couples! We promise the smiles on their faces were not just for the camera, their joy was contagious and their love was inspiring! Huge thanks to Daniel from Ebersole Photography for sharing these photos with us. We're normally drawn to the indoor photos that really showcase the Museum for all its beauty, but we especially love how he found such unique and interesting scenery outdoors to match the Museum's quirky and unique vibe!

Jess & Jeremiah's Wedding

Our favorite thing about hosting weddings at the Museum is that no two are the same. We seem to get the most creative couples who really focus on the personal touches and the outcome is always spectacular. This wedding of Jess & Jeremiah is no exception.

With some creativity they were able to fit 175 guests, the room was not only full of people but so much love! Props to Cypress Catering Company for making it work with ease. We can't get enough of these photos by Paul Robert Berman and the awesome couple behind the lens.

Carson & Kyle's Wedding

Reminiscing on a beautiful spring day here at the Museum- we were lucky enough to host this gorgeous wedding of Carson & Kyle. Between their elegant style and killer dance party, it was a night to remember!

The couple had an A+ team of vendors. Thank you to Simi Rabinowitz for these photos! Peppers Artful Events pleased everyone with their delicious food and spectacular attention to detail. DesignLight pulled out all the stops to turn the Jackson Room into their dream ceremony and reception spot, and Groove Authority kept the dance floor packed all night long. It was a team effort and the final outcome was everything Carson & Kyle had envisioned for their special day!

Liz & Damien's Wedding

We are stoked to share these amazing photos by Paul Robert Berman of Liz & Damien's wedding. They are such an interesting, fun couple and we are honored they chose to host their wedding with us.

Liz and Damien said their "I Do"s in the Jackson Room. They embraced the museums industrial qualities by using the natural lighting and kept their ceremony very personal.

After the ceremony their guests mingled in the museum for cocktail hour amongst the exhibits. Catering by BG Events provided delicious hor d'oeuvres, a delightful dinner menu and beautiful details throughout the night.

We hope that Liz, Damien and their guests enjoyed their experience as much as we enjoyed hosting them!

Melanie & Scotty's Wedding

We are so thrilled to share these beautiful photos from Melanie and Scotty's big day! The amount of love and attention that went into every single detail was so obvious and really appreciated by their guests. Melanie & Scotty said "I do" in a serene and intimate area of Landry Park amongst their family and friends.

Cocktail hour was held in the museum's main exhibit space and in the watch gallery, with dinner and dancing in the Jackson Room. We are honored to host couples like Melanie and Scotty who truly embrace this museum's uniqueness. We wish them so much luck, love and good fortune in their married life!

Thank you to the talented Siri Jones for these incredible photos!

Zahra & Max's Wedding

When you dream up a beautiful spring wedding, I'll bet you can't even dream it this perfectly. Zahra & Max are such a sweet couple and we were honored to host their unique wedding.

They began their day by signing the Ketubah in the lounge just off of the Jackson Room. This perfectly accommodated their intimate crowd of family and wedding party and set their wedding off on the perfect note. Max and Zahra's ceremony was held in the Jackson Room under a beautiful chuppah.

From there, their guests headed into the museum for cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres. Beautifully presented on cocktail tables were beakers and flasks from Zahra's late grandfather. My favorite part of their cocktail hour was the toasts given over the balcony, it felt so grand and purposeful.

Soon after, the celebration moved into the Jackson Room for dinner and dancing. Banquet tables dressed in elegant linens, beautiful china and vibrant florals lent a soft touch to the industrial room. Max, Zahra, family and friends danced the night away thanks to their rocking band. It was a great effort from all vendors involved-- the team at Season to Taste served delicious food and made the event so effortless. Day-of-Coordination provided by Without A Hitch made sure the day ran smoothly. A huge Thank You to Leah LaRiccia for capturing their day so perfectly and sharing these magnificent photos with us. We wish Max & Zahra a beautiful and happy life together!

Julie & Cassidy's Wedding

On the ninth of May the town of Waltham was buzzing ready to get the Steampunk Festival underway. We over here at the museum were particularly excited for an event of another kind, Julie & Cassidy’s wedding!

They were the first of our 2015 weddings to host their ceremony outdoors in Landry Park and Mother Nature certainly welcomed them and their guests. Shout out to Wander & Wander, it’s amazing how the overwhelming feeling of love was captured in your photos! Congratulations to Julie and Cass, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Jennifer & Gilbert's Wedding

If you love New Orleans and an epic dance party, you are sure to love this wedding! Jennifer and Gilbert shared their big day with us on Memorial Day Weekend and showed us how to have a good time.

The couple incorporated their NOLA engagement in their wedding with delicious food that could have come straight from Bourbon Street. They provided Mardi Gras props which their guests were not shy to take advantage of. If Jennifer and Gilbert’s wedding is any indication of their future married life, I think they will be making a lifetime of memories!

Thank you to TSG Weddings for helping to create such a vibrant atmosphere and to Andrew Wang for capturing it!

Ashley & Doug's Wedding

Ashley & Doug kicked off our 2015 wedding season this spring and they set the bar high! The evening was as calm and serene as the beautiful couple looked.

Their ceremony was held in the main gallery under a wreath positioned perfectly in front of our Ford Model T. The neutral color palette was used throughout the space, which perfectly softened the hard lines of the museum and its artifacts. They were able to easily transition the main gallery into cocktail hour by using benches for ceremony seating.

Next their guests moved into the Jackson Room where they dined and danced under an organic Edison bulb chandelier. Many thanks to the talented Paul Robert Berman for these amazing photos, we hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed hosting them.
