Kicking off a new tradition of “Late Nights at the Charles River Museum" are special guests, the Typewriter Rodeo.

The following video explains well what the Typewriter Rodeo is all about: Instant, personal poetry, live, in person, on demand – composed by skilled poets, on vintage typewriters.

We are very interested in weaving art of different genres that link with, draw from, support, or reinforce the collection and narrative of our Museum of Industry and Innovation. Composing poetry on vintage typewriters dovetails beautifully with our ongoing typewriter exhibit.

So come join us at the Museum on Thursday evening, November 12th, for a soulful, whimsical event, and a great chance to view our collections in a fresh context.

Four Typewriter Rodeo poets will be on hand to compose a poem for YOU.

We’re really looking forward to enjoying with you our first Late Night at the Charles River Museum!
