April Vacation Classes!


Need to find something to do with our 3rd, 4th or 5th Graders for April Vacation week? Well look no further: we are offering two classes in conjunction with Waltham Recreation Department! The cost for each class per student is $50 for the four days of instruction or $80 if the student attends both classes.

Puppetry Class: Imagine, Make, Perform

(limited to 15 participants)

Meets: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Dates: April 16 - 19 (Vacation Week)

Instructor: Andrew Child

Description: Come learn all the basics to making a puppet show! Over a four day period students will learn how to design and construct their own puppets, as well as draft and produce their own puppet show. A professional puppeteer will lead the class, showing students how to puppets can embody characters and tell meaningful and fun stories. Space is limited!

Innovation Adventures

(limited to 10 participants)

Meets: Tuesday through Friday 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Dates: April 16 - 19 (Vacation Week)

Description: We’re ready for new Innovation Adventures! Are you? We welcome all who want to use their creativity, curiosity, and inventive thinking skills to explore, share, and make new ideas come to life. Every day there will be mysteries to unravel, stuff to take apart, things to build, and a new challenges to unlock. Along with having a lot of fun, we will develop our creative problem solving, investigation, and collaboration skills, all in the midst of the Museum’s cool innovations.
